Social media fundraisers are one of the ways to support KPH. Currently, such opportunity is provided by Facebook and Instagram. It's a simple method to raise funds for goals that are important to you. Find out how to do it - read the instructions we have prepared.

Facebook: How to organize a fundraiser for KPH?

1. Create a fundraiser Facebook provides you with the option to create a birthday or a spontaneous fundraiser. Just click on the "menu" icon and select the "fundraiser" option.

2. Choose the organisation From the list of nonprofit organizations that will appear on your screen, select "Kampania Przeciw Homofobii." Just type in the name of our association in the list search engine.

3. Fill in the fundraiser information Specify: the purpose of the fundraiser, i.e. the amount you want to raise; the end date of the fundraiser; the name of the fundraiser; its description, i.e. why you are raising money for KPH.

4. Choose background photo The choice of the photo is important. A well-chosen one will attract your friends' attention and encourage them to take part in the fundraiser.

5. Let your friends know about the fundraiser Finally, promote your fundraiser. In order to support it, people need to find out about it. You can do this in several ways: by sharing the link to the fundraiser on Facebook, inviting friends to the fundraiser (the fundraiser page features such an option) or sending the link by email. It is important to thank those who support your fundraiser - these people deserve to be appreciated.

Instagram: How to organize a fundraiser for KPH?

1. Open Instagram and tap [+]

2. Create or choose your image and tap ➝ (if you are using an Iphone tap "Next")

3. Crop and filter your post, and then tap ➝ (if you are using an Iphone tap "Next")

4. Tap "Add fundraiser".

5. Choose the charity that you want to fundraise for. You'll automatically go to the "Fundraiser details" page.

6. Enter the details for your fundraiser and then tap "Done".

7. Tap V (if you are using an Iphone tap "Share").

8. Finally, promote your fundraiser. In order to support it, people need to find out about it. You can do this in several ways: by sharing the link to the fundraiser in your bio and stories, post a photo or a reel with information about the fundraiser. It is important to thank those who support your fundraiser - these people deserve to be appreciated.

Your wedding and reception are perfect opportunities to show support for the LGBT+ people you love who do not have the opportunity to get married in Poland. All you have to do is ask the invited guests to take cash with them instead of, for example, flowers or wine, and put the money in a specially prepared tin. In this way they can support KPH's work for marriage equality.
